I know I’ve been quiet for a while. Just wanted to post a quick note here so no one thinks I’ve fallen off the Earth. I’ve had a wonderful Christmas with my family and I’ve been doing quite a bit of reflecting about what I should do with this blog as well as AGreaterFreedom.com. There are some changes coming, but I’m trying to be quiet and hear God’s voice in what those changes really should be.
I’ve finished some freelance editing work up and now I’m looking forward to completing my book proposal (finally!) to turn into my agent next week (hopefully!). I’m also wrapping up plans for the AGF editorial calendar, to be announced hopefully next week as well. (There’s a lot of hoping going on around here!
)
While you wait for my big unveiling, why don’t you visit Mark Swanson’s new web site, BestGodBlogs.com? He surprised me by including my post “Smack in the Middle of God’s Will” in one of his first installments. You may have a post he’d like to use, so check it out!
A verse to leave you with:
“We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you” (Psalm 33:21-22, NIV).
I like this version a little better:
“We’re depending on GOD; he’s everything we need. What’s more, our hearts brim with joy since we’ve taken for our own his holy name. Love us, GOD, with all you’ve got–that’s what we’re depending on” (Psalm 33:21-22, The Message).
Thank you God that we can depend on You. Happy Wednesday!
