We had our July monthly meeting of Wives of Faith last night and it was such a good time of fellowship, prayer support and planning for some new things coming down the pike.
It’s almost hard to put into words how grateful I am for the women in the group. All of these ladies have either experienced deployment in the past or are going through it now or expect to in the future, and they all have a heart for helping other ladies going through the same life experiences.
We have had request after request to start chapters in other states and we are working as fast as we can to finish up our handbook and see about helping get those chapters off the ground. We are also looking at ways to connect churches closer with military ministry and I am excited about the possibilities and what God is doing in that area right now.
Please continue to pray for Wives of Faith, that God will continue to lead us in the direction He wants us to go and that the women who need this group will find it, and we will in turn find them. And please pray for our military and their families – daily. We need it so much.
