Oh my goodness! I stayed up WAY past my bedtime last night. Our Wives of Faith meeting for the South Nashville chapter was last night. We talked about what happens when fear steals our focus. There was some good sharing and it was great to see a few ladies who haven’t been able to come for a while.

The best part from that meeting was that one of the girls (big shout out to Megan!) has agreed to help coordinate the meetings so a little less is on me to do. So the good, no GREAT news, is that our Nashville meetings will continue, I’m excited to say. God is so good!

After I got home, I went straight up to my office to do the whole lesson over again, except this time online! Several military wives have emailed or messaged me over the last couple of weeks asking and wishing they could come to a local chapter meeting, but seeing as many of them live out of state, that is a little impossible. :) So we’ve brought the meeting to them.

The reason I was up so late though was because I had to figure out that YouTube won’t take all 20 minutes of it at once so then I had to edit and break it up into chunks and then it took time to upload.

If you want to check the video out, head on over to the Wives of Faith blog. And be sure to leave a comment with your thoughts about fear, military life, or a little of each!

Thank you for your prayers for me and my family the last week or so. So far, no real major changes to our situation, but my husband has put himself on voluntary mobilization status. Deployment may be in our near future, sooner than we had been expecting. We are trusting God to provide.
