This week has some good things happening and some not so good things happening. The really good thing is that the book cover for GOD Strong: The Military Wife’s Spiritual Survival Guide has been chosen, which I’m very excited about!
The bad news is that there will be a delay on my book, Weekend Warrior No More, being published. I made the hard decision last week to terminate my contract with the publisher. They are struggling under the current economy and while they were still planning on publishing my book, I had some major concerns that made it necessary for me to withdraw the book from publishing with them.
Other than some edits, WWNM itself is complete, and so I hope to find another publisher soon, or I may decide to self-publish it because I know how needed it is right now by Reserve and Guard spouses gearing up for deployment or currently going through one. Many of you who read my blog also helped answer questions for me for this book so I felt I needed to let you know what was happening with it.
In the meantime, you can still read my articles in Military Spouse, and I’ve also now started writing for CinCHouse. Speaking of articles, I have one I need to finish…
