My new book, GOD Strong: Nine Spiritual Truths Every Military Wife Should Know, is going to release in early 2010 from Zondervan and I am looking for brief stories from military wives on how you have found strength through God in overcoming fear, loneliness, the dread of the unknown, your hurts and struggles.
We know that everyone says military wives are strong, but as believers, we know where our strength ultimately comes from! Have you discovered this to be the case?
If you have ever experienced God’s strength during hard times (maybe through deployment or other long-distance separation from family or friends, through a particular scripture passage on a day you needed it the most, through a crisis in your marriage or the health crisis of a family member, or some other set of circumstances), I’d love to hear your story and possibly include it in the book.
