First, everything you're feeling is ABSOLUTELY normal! We all struggle with trying to do everything on our own, and yes, even blame our husbands for putting us in these situations. But God loves us and wants to use these tough times to remind us that He is ALWAYS there. Deployments are definitely not easy but when we rely on God, we remember we are not alone and we aren't meant to do it all by ourselves. HUGS.<br> Karren, I’m so glad you wrote. It spoke directly to my heart and made me realize the reason I've been feeling so weak/overwhelmed is because I haven't been relying on God for my strength. I've had days, weeks, and even months where I wake up in the morning and feel like I just can't take another day of this deployment.. It takes every bit of energy in me to pull up my bootstraps and keep going. Some days I've even blamed my husband for putting me through this and making me feel so weak! I now realize I'm the only one to blame. I was relying on myself or others to strengthen me and help me through this, when all along I should have been seeking God and relying on Him! Thank you so much for writing this book.
