COMING IN 2018... As I've traveled around the U.S. and other parts of the world speaking, I've had the opportunity to meet some amazing women serving in ministry.

It never ceases to surprise me, though, that no matter how much confidence and excellence a leader appears to have, it only takes a couple of minutes of conversation to see the doubts and fears she holds just underneath her tender surface.

It's Not Confidence You Need... It's Courage

After several years of ministry, I hit a deeply painful and debilitating wall of fear that pulled me out of what I loved doing and held me hostage in a room with no doors or windows I'd built myself.

I kept telling myself I just needed to believe more, to try harder... but what I really needed to understand was that I won't ever know enough, be enough, or have enough to lead or serve in ministry. But what I can do is muster up the courage to take one step forward, and trust God to do the rest.

Confidence works in the belief that you know what you're doing. Courage works in the belief that despite the fear and inadequacies you're feeling, something good can still happen.

My purpose for the She Leads Brave podcast is to equip you to first embrace the courage to be an influence -  and to be intentional with the influence and leadership abilities God has given you.

We're going to dive into the practical and figure out together how to overcome the special challenges we have as women in leadership and achieve the goals and dreams we have in our hearts to pursue.

Ready to be courageous? Ready to be intentional? Join me in March when we set out to do both!
